Marcus McWilson ran four times for 109 yards and two TDs and the Cardinal Mooney High football team tuned up for the postseason by dominating Lake 48-14 on Friday.

P.J. Quinn completed 7 of 10 passes for 125 yards, hitting Quincy Jones three times for 95 yards and two TDs for Mooney (6-3), which entered the game fourth in the Division III Region 11 computer ratings.

Jake Viscounte caught three passes for 66 yards and two TDs from Josh Peach for Lake (2-8).

Warren Harding 40, Warrensville Heights 20

WARREN

Jalyn Powell opened the game with an 87-yard kickoff return for a touchdown and carried four times for 109 yards and two more TDs for Warren Harding (2-8, 1-5 Lake Erie League).

LeShun Daniels carried 15 times for 86 yards and a TD, O’Sha Jackson returned an interception 30 yards and Justin Magazine added a 14-yard TD run as the Raiders snapped a seven-game losing streak.

Terrell Greer carried 16 times for 162 yards and a touchdown for Heights (3-7, 1-5).

Akron Ellet 41, East 22

AKRON

Delane Brown threw three TD passes, one to Marquise Thomas and two to Valentino Sewell, but the Panthers (3-7) fell behind 27-0 at halftime.

Aaron Male ran for four TDs for Ellet (6-4), which held a 228-47 edge on the ground.

Salem 27, West Branch 7

Salem

The Quakers rushed for 305 yards. Austin Noel had 24 carries for 228 yards. Noel scored twice in each half, including an 82-yard run.

Salem (5-5, 3-4 Northeastern Buckeye Conferece) was able to hold West Branch to 170 yards.

Jake Mull scored on a 5-yard run for the Warriors’ (4-6, 3-4 NBC) touchdown. Mull carried the ball 16 times for 75 yards.

Pymatuning Valley 35, Mathews 12

ANDOVER

Tim Cross caught three touchdown passes for the Lakers (7-3, 3-2 Northeastern Athletic Conference). Those plays covered 14, 46 and 11 yards. He had eight receptions for 130 yards.

Josh Adkins completed 16 of 23 passes for 270 yards.

For the Mustangs (2-8, 1-4), Zach Motts rushed for 58 yards and passed for 66. Ryan Mazey had four receptions for 31 yards.

Joe Siefert and Anthony Fordley each scored on 1-yard runs.

East Liverpool 40, Weir 0
