CHAMPION

Anthony Franco completed 14 of 18 passes for 239 yards and four touchdowns on Friday as the Lakeview High football team defeated Champion, 43-14.

Franco also ran nine times for 53 yards and two TDs for Lakeview (6-4), which rolled up a 43-0 lead in the third quarter.

Elijah Henderson caught six passes for 132 yards and three TDs for the Bulldogs, who entered in 10th place in the Div. IV Region 13 ratings. It was the fifth straight victory for Lakeview.

Justin Rasey ran 17 times for 90 yards and a TD for Champion (2-8).

Brookfield 21, Beaver Local 7

LISBON

Jeremy Quinlan ran for two touchdowns and passed for a third to spur the Warriors (9-1).

Brookfield was rated fifth in this week’s Region 13 ratings.

After a scoreless first half, Quinlan rushed for touchdowns of 1 and 5 yards to make it 14-0 entering the final quarter.

He hit Colin Harkulich with a 21-yard touchdown pass to make it 21-0.

Kevin Sevey passed 17 yards to Phillip Boehm for the Beavers (1-9).
