Anthony Belton ran 13 times for 113 yards and Jeff Clegg completed 11 of 14 passes for 104 yards on Friday as Western Reserve rolled past Jackson-Milton, 52-7.
Western Reserve (9-0, 6-0 Inter-Tri County League Tier Two) is rated first in the state in Division VI by the Associated Press and is first in its computer region.
Thomas Benyo caught three passes for 30 yards and two early touchdowns of 5 and 15 yards.
Western Reserve led at the break, 33-7.
Brennen Morrison caught a 28-yard touchdown pass from Zach Nagy for Jackson-Milton (3-6, 1-5).
Southern 12, Lowellville 0
LOWELLVILLE
Zack Puckett scored touchdowns on runs covering 12 and 11 yards for the Indians (8-1, 5-1 Tier Two). Puckett rushed 21 times for 120 yards. Luke Griffith completed 11 of 17 passes for 100 yards. Jared Shilat caught two of them for 40 yards.
For the Rockets (1-8, 1-5), Randy Pavlicko rushed nine times for 56 yards. Geno Moore completed six of 11 passes for 75 yards. Joey Smith had four receptions for 87 yards.
East Palestine 26, Lisbon 6
East Palestine
Derek Smith scored twice with runs of 17 and 12 yards,. He finished with 222 yards on 30 carries for EP (2-7). Jake Dicello took a 66-yard punt return to the house for the Bulldogs’ first score.
Josh Lathrop got Lisbon (1-8) on the board first with a 3-yard catch from Eric Walker.
Wellsville 28, Leetonia 21
WELLSVILLE
Marcus Moxley ran 29 times for 95 yards and Jake Reed completed eight of 11 passes for 127 yards and two touchdowns for the Tigers (4-5, 3-3 ITCL Tier Two).
R.J. Pacella scored a 13-yard touchdown and caught a 37-yard touchdown aerial from Cody Stokes for the Bears (3-6, 1-5).
United 40, Mineral Ridge 21
MINERAL RIDGE
The Eagles (3-6, 3-3 Tier One) rallied from a 14-0 deficit for the win. Mike Martin scored three touchdowns, all from the 9 yard line. He rushed for 109 yards on 15 carries.
Garrett Beech threw two touchdown passes to Tyler Dunn covering 13 and 43 yards. Beech also scored on a 1-yard run. Beech completed seven of 14 passes for 165 yards.
For the Rams (4-5, 3-3), Jonathan Baker threw two touchdown passes to Nathan Palmer covering 55 and 37 yards.
Palmer caught four passes for 110 yards.
