District: JFK wins big; Salem also wins, but Harding, West Branch, Mathews and East Liverpool lose

WARREN
Dominic Naples carried 13 times for 99 yards and a touchdown to lead a dominating ground attack in Warren JFK’s 44-10 win over Sharon in a high school football game on Friday.
Andre Jethroe added five carries for 64 yards and a touchdown for the Eagles (4-2), who rolled up 323 yards on the ground.
Naples completed 6 of 10 passes for 90 yards and two touchdowns and Naples also recovered a fumble in the end zone.
Jason Ondic completed 9 of 14 passes for 106 yards and he also ran for a touchdown to lead Sharon.
Salem 17, Canton South 0
Salem
Austin Noel scored two touchdowns and carried the ball 24 times for 124 yards to lead the Quakers (4-2, 2-1 Northeastern Buckeye Conference). Noel scored both TDs in the second quarter on 24- yard and 4-yard runs, respectively.
Salem’s other points cam from a Keaton O’Brien 27-yard field goal in the first quarter.
Deonte Settles did most of the work for Canton South (0-6, 0-3 NBC), rushing for 25 yards and catching five passes for 47 yards.
Lorain 41, Warren Harding 14
LORAIN
LeShun Daniels carried 16 times for 62 yards and a touchdown for the Raiders (1-5, 0-3 North Coast League), whose offensive struggles continued.
Terrelle Bruner scored on a 90-yard interception return for Harding’s other touchdown but the Raiders fell behind 28-0 after three quarters. The Raiders have not scored more than 15 points in any game this season.
Collin Bryan completed 3 of 7 passes for 94 yards and a touchdown for Lorain (3-3, 1-2).
Minerva 39, West Branch 26
MINERVA
Brenden Wells carried 26 times for 212 yards and two touchdowns to lead West Branch (2-4, 1-2 Northeastern Buckeye Conference), which led 14-7 entering the second quarter.
Troy James added 83 yards on 15 carries with a touchdown and completed 9 of 19 passes for 130 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions.
Tyler Pidgeon caught five of those passes for 79 yards and Jalen Shelton had three for 37, including a 14-yard TD pass with 1:27 left in the fourth quarter that closed the scoring.
Eli Maurer completed 14 of 19 passes for 247 yards, including seven to Zach Wade for 169 yards, to lead the Lions (6-0, 3-0). Jake Riley added 195 yards rushing on 28 carries with two TDs and Wade rushed for another three scores.
Ledgemont 32, Mathews 0
THOMPSON
Dan Larosa ran 23 times for 178 yards and four touchdowns and Brad Selier added eight carries for 107 yards and a TD to lead Ledgemont (6-0, 1-0 Northeastern Athletic Conference), which scored 20 in the third quarter to put the game away.
Craig Hunt carried 23 times for 74 yards for Mathews (1-5, 0-1), which did not complete a pass and finished with 108 yards on the ground.
Steubenville 41, East Liverpool 0
STEUBENVILLE
Results of this game were not reported.
The Potters fell to 0-6, while Steubenville improved to 6-0.
Big Red entered the game ranked first in the Associated Press poll and first in the Division III, Region 11 computer ratings.
