ITCL: Columbiana remains unbeaten; Springfield, Crestview, McDonald, Southern and Leetonia also win

COLUMBIANA
Austin Barbato carried 18 times for 136 yards and two touchdowns and the Clippers used a bevy of running backs to roll up 374 yards on the ground and stay perfect in the Inter Tri-County League’s Tier One, defeating visiting East Palestine 48-14 on Friday.
Barbato also completed 5 of 9 passes for 96 yards and a touchdown for the Clippers (6-0, 3-0), who entered the game second in the Division II, Region 17 computer ratings and 14th in the Associated Press poll.
Derrik Smith rushed 22 times for 44 yards and a TD for the Bulldogs (1-5, 0-3), who lost three fumbles and had two passes intercepted.
Springfield 21, Lisbon 0
LISBON
Nick Russel completed 18 of 27 passes for 249 yards, three touchdowns and one interception to lead Springfield, which scored all 21 points in the second quarter.
Joe Ohlin caught all three TD passes and finished with seven receptions for 104 yards for the Tigers (5-1, 2-1 ITCL Tier One), who entered the game eighth in the Division V, Region 17 computer ratings.
Ohlin and Tommy Mastron also had interceptions.
For Lisbon (1-5, 0-3), Zac Barnes carried 26 times for 110 yards.
Crestview 44, United 6
HANOVERTON
Adam Coppock carried 14 times for 117 yards and two touchdowns for Crestview, which led 27-6 at halftime.
Nick Blower added 11 carries for 67 yards with a TD and caught two passes for 43 yards and a touchdown for the Rebels (5-1, 3-0 ITCL Tier One). Ryan Moffett added 87 yards on 10 carries with a touchdown.
Coppock completed 7 of 10 passes for 110 yards.
For United (1-5, 1-2), Garrett Beech rushed nine times for 53 yards and a touchdown.
Southern 27, Wellsville 7
WELLSVILLE
Zach Puckett carried 28 times for 95 yards and a touchdown to lead Southern, which took a 27-0 lead midway through the third quarter.
Luke Griffith completed 8 of 21 passes for 163 yards and a touchdown for the Indians (6-0, 3-0 ITCL Tier Two), who bested last year’s 5-0 start.
Jake Reed completed 12 of 30 passes for 234 yards, one touchdown and four interceptions for Wellsville (2-4, 1-2).
Leetonia 21, Jackson-Milton 6
LEETONIA
Cody Stokes rushed for two TDs and Leetonia rallied from a 6-0 halftime deficit.
Stokes completed 4 of 7 passes for 72 yards for the Bears (2-3, 0-2), while Zack Van Giesen carried 10 times for 60 yards and C.J. Pacella added 56 yards on five carries.
Jed Thorn caught three passes for 46 yards, including a 10-yard TD pass late in the second quarter from Zach Nagy for JM (2-4, 0-3).
McDonald 13, Lowellville 6
LOWELLVILLE
Eric Inskeep carried 22 times for 148 yards and one touchdown but it wasn’t enough for Lowellville (1-5, 1-2 ITCL Tier Two) in a game where neither team scored in the second half.
McDonald (3-3, 2-1) statistics were not reported.
