Nagy’s TD passes lead Jackson-Milton to win

Zach Nagy threw two touchdowns passes to Cody Vaughn on Friday as the Jackson-Milton High football team defeated Windham, 27-6.
Vaughn’s scores covered 18 and 35 yards.
Brennen Morrison led the Bluejays with 113 yards rushing on 17 carries including a 38-yard touchdown. The Bluejays gained 269 yards on 26 carries.
St. Clairsville 40, Crestview 37
COLUMBIANA
Matt Kinnick passed for 396 yards and three touchdowns to help St. Clairsville jump out to a 40-15 lead in the third quarter.
Kinnick completed 20 of 29 passes. Jaylon Brown caught the three touchdowns, covering 15, 79 and 60 yards.
For the Rebels, Adam Coppock passed for 179 yards and two touchdowns. He also scored three rushing touchdowns coverinv 5, 1 and 60 yards. Nick Blower caught a 25-yard touchdown and Nate Climo a 20-yard score.
Malvern 56, United 26
Hanoverton
United’s Garrett Beech rushed 14 times for 99 yards and three touchdowns, but it wasn’t enough. Malvern’s offense dominated the Eagles, gaining 226 yards in the air and 305 on the ground.
Malvern jumped out to a 42-0 lead in the second quarter before Beech could get the Eagles offense rolling. Beech scored late in the second quarter from 2 yards out and again to begin the second half from 5.
Beech’s third TD proved little too late, coming from 25 yards out late in the fourth quarter.
Beech accounted for 113 of the Eagles’ 186 yards of offense. Mike Martin scored the other touchdown for United.
Rootstown 30, Sebring 12
Rootstown
Josh Herford led the Trojans, rushing for 36 yards and completed seven passes for 87 yards. Dakota Wagner contributed with 37 yards on the ground and 19 in the air.
Cory Baia had four catches for 77 yards.
Sebring’s defense was unable to stop the Rovers on the ground, giving up more than 450 yards.
