Blake Jackson ran 16 times for 144 yards and two touchdowns as Canfield overwhelmed Canton South, 41-17, in a non-conference game on Friday night.
The Cardinals rushed 58 times for 374 yards while holding the Wildcats (0-2) to four carries for 6 yards.
Jordan Italiano added two touchdowns covering 66 and 6 yards as the Cardinals bolted out to a 28-2 lead at the break.
After Italiano’s first touchdown, Dante DeLorenzo ran 2 yards for a score and a 14-0 lead.
Mike Hughes rounded out the Canfield scoring in the fourth quarter, scoring on an 8-yard carry.
Crestview 41, Beaver Local 7
LISBON
Quarterback Carter Hill rushed for 91 yards and scored two touchdowns for the Rebels (1-1).
Andrew Mayer rushed for 101 yards and also scored twice.
Kody Simpson and Adam Coppock scored Crestview’s other touchdowns. Coppock finished with 90 yards on 11 carries while Simpson had 90 on five attempts.
For the Beavers (0-2), quarterback Evan Schneider scored a 1-yard touchdown. Jareod Pirl caught six passes for 59 yards.
Garrettsville Garfield 35, Champion 7

The G-Men held the Flashes to just 51 total yards of offense while putting together 316 total yards. Champion’s Travis Damron’s 70-yard kickoff return was the lone score for Champion (1-1).
Jim Rasey carried the ball 11 times for 39 yards, while adding three catches for 37.
Champion quarterback Shane Brown completed four passes on 15 attempts for 46 yards.
Southeast 35, Newton Falls 22

Southeast running back Damian Pennington scored two touchdowns to lead the Raiders. Pennington scored the first touchdown of the night, giving the Raiders a 7-0 lead. The following kickoff was returned 90 yards by Newton Falls’ Eric Kline.
PNewton Falls quarterback Matt Brazin responded with a 41 yard touchdown pass to Anthony Kline, who finished with four catches for 63 yards.
