A.J. Battista (19 yards), Devon Greene (18) and Mark Goodnight (1) scored rushing touchdowns for the Crusaders (7-1) in a 21-7 victory over Chaney at Canfield High on Saturday.

Green gained 142 yards on 18 carries.

For the Cowboys (1-7, the only score of the day came on a George LeFlore one-yard run in the first quarter.

LeFlore gained 37 yards on 13 tries while quarterback Rayshawn Johnson completed seven of 12 passes for 56 yards.

Canfield

Darien Townsend had 112 yards rushing on only three attempts and led the Eagles (1-7) to their first win of the season.

Townsend was joined by teammate Anthony Abeid, who had 96 yards rushing on 12 attempts. Townsend also completed all five passes he attempted and finished with 50 yards through the air.

The Wildcats (0-7) were led by quarterback Ben Stolba with 140 yards passing.
