LISBON

South Range quarterback David Buzzacco connected Dan Good for touchdown passes of three and 28 yards on Friday in a 28-0 victory over Lisbon.

Buzzacco completed 11-of-14 tosses for 186 yards for the Raiders (6-1, 4-0 Inter Tri-County League Tier One). Phillip Arsuffi scored on a 60-yard run and rushed eight times for 119 yards. He also caught five passes for 96 yards.

Nathaniel Simmons scored on a 2-yard run for the Raiders, who are the number six team in Division V Region 17. They also are ranked 18th in the Associated Press state poll of Div. V teams.

For the Blue Devils (1-6, 0-4), Zac Barnes rushed 12 times for 28 yards.

Mineral Ridge 42, Springfield 14

Dan Skiba ran 15 times for 285 yards and the Rams took control after falling behind 14-6.

Skiba ran for three TDs to lead the Rams (4-3, 3-1 ITCL Tier One), who outscored the Tigers 23-0 in the second quarter. Ryan Porter added 55 yards on eight carries and scored twice, while Mike Keleman had the other touchdown run.

J.T. Lavendar ran for a TD and Nick Russell returned a fumble 22 yards for a score to lead the Tigers (3-4, 1-3). Brad Ferraro completed 9 of 14 passes for 116 yards, with Russell catching two passes for 78 yards.

United 35, Columbiana 19

Hanoverton

The Golden Eagles (5-2, 3-1 ITCL Tier One) got 309 passing yards from quarterback Josh McLaughlin, who went 16-of-23 with two touchdowns and an interception. He also had 98 yards rushing and two scores.

McLaughlin’s main target was wideout Ryan Powell, who caught nine balls for 191 yards.

The Clippers (3-4, 1-3) were led by Nick Roncone with 84 yards rushing on 23 attempts.

Crestview 48, East Palestine 7

East Palestine

Kody Simpson scored on runs of 12, 17 and 65 yards. He also caught a 33-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Carter Hill.

Hill went 7-of-11 for 160 yards. He rushed for 88 yards on 13 attempts.

The Rebels (6-1, 4-0 ITCL Tier 1) had 353 total rushing yards.

Mike Salyers had the score for the Bulldogs (1-6. 0-4).

Western Reserve 49, Wellsville 20

WELLSVILLE

Jeff Clegg threw four touchdown passes and completed 19 of 34 passes for the Blue Devils (7-0, 4-0 ITCL Tier Two). Tim Cooper caught two scoring tosses covering 13 and 10 yards.

Riley Sheptock caught a 46-yard scoring pass.

Donnie Bolton rushed for 172 yards and touchdowns of 1 and 50 yards for the Blue Devils, the eighth-ranked team in the AP state poll of Div. VI schools. They also are the number two team in Region 21 of the computer playoff ratings.

McDonald 46, Jackson-Milton 0

McDonald

Justin Rota scored two touchdowns as McDonald shut out Jackson-Milton. Rota scored on a 47-yard pass and returned a punt 55 yards for a touchdown.

Zach Tura scored two rushing touchdowns for the Blue Devils. Tura finished with 7 carries for 75 yards while quarterback Mathias Tayala completed 5 of 7 passes for 81 yards and two touchdowns.

John Gherardi had 10 rushes for 45 yards for Jackson-Milton.

Southern 28, Leetonia 10

LEETONIA

Jake Boyle connected with Trey Griffith for touchdown passes of 65 and 40 yards for the Indians (6-1, 3-1 ITCL Tier Two). Griffith had four catches for 127 yards.

Zack Puckett also caught a 67-yard scoring toss for the Indians, the number eight team in this week’s computer ratings for Division VI Region 23.

For the Bears (2-5, 1-3), Brandon Dattilio kicked a 28 yard field goal and Seth McNally scored on an 8-yard run.
