BESSEMER - Mohawk runs to 36-21 victory over Freedom
BESSEMER — With Mohawk leading by only three points, Travis Schubert scored on a 9-yard run and Colin Bredl added a 69-yard scoring dash to push the Warriors away to a 36-21 victory over Freedom.
Schubert wound up with 130 yards rushing in 22 attempts to pace Mohawk (3-1). He also had a conversion run.
John Beatty scored a pair of TDs for Mohawk on runs of 29 and 8 yards and finished with 72 yards rushing in six attempts.
Scott Freeman scored two TDs for Freedom (1-3) from the 2 and 4 and rushed for 71 yards in 20 attempts.
