Summary: Senior RB/LB Gary Allen, who had 423 yards rushing last season, returns to lead a Pirates team that has four starters back on each side of the ball and has a good core to build around. QB Anthony Pennington started toward the end of last season, so that experience should give him a head start this fall. LB Nick Hopkins (49 tackles) and DE Joe Howes (30 tackles) will lead the Southeast defense.
