How the mighty fell in Week 2 of the Fearless Forecasters
How the mighty fell in Week 2 of the Fearless Forecasters, as sportswriter Pete Mollica can attest. Coming off an opening week in which he went a FF-record 19-1, Mollica plummeted to a 13-7 performance and fell 2 games off the pace of co-leaders Joe Scalzo (five-time winner, yada, yada, yada) and Tom Williams. Those two have been the models of consistency over the first two weeks, going 17-3 back-to-back. At the other end of the spectrum, Mark Miller, who last year finished far alone in last place, got a quick start on a repeat performance in 2007 by picking only 12 winners. Meanwhile, John Kovach vowed to redeem his opening-week 13-7 performance … and went 13-7 again. The vow continues. Be sure to check out more Pigskin Pick ’Ems online at Vindy.com.
