Mohawk can’t stop Mars rushing attack


CRANBERRY, Pa. — Billy Bair scored five touchdowns on runs of 2, 5, 12, 38 and 44 yards and he returned an intercepted pass 49 for another score as Mars upended Mohawk 42-6 Friday in a Tri-County North Class AA game.

Mars (8-1, 8-0) scored 14 points each in the first three quarters and picked up all its yards 333 rushing during the contest. Bair gaining 239 of that on 22 rushes. Mohawk’s (4-5, 3-5) D.J. Woleslagle rushed for 121 yards on 14 carries and he scored on a 34-yard run in the fourth quarter.
