Smith scores pair but Chaney falls
HUNTING VALLEY — Marqueal Smith scored two touchdowns Saturday but the Chaney High football team lost to University School, 43-12.
Smith scored on runs of 31 and 16 yards in each of the first two quarters, but the Cowboys were unable stop the University School offense.
University School (6-1) took a 21-6 lead after the opening quarter and expanded that to 36-12 at the half, before adding seven more points in the third quarter.
Chaney (9-7) tried two conversion runs that failed.
