Sebring loses on the road, 21-7


BOWERSTON — The Sebring High School football team was handed a 21-7 setback by Conotton Valley in a season opener for both schools Saturday at the Rockets’ stadium.

Conotton Valley led 7-0 at halftime, then broke away with 14 points in the fourth quarter.

The Trojans marched 60 yards in four plays in the last period. Steve Rastetter caught a 45-yard touchdown pass from Kyle Nannah and Drew Thomas made a kick for the extra point.

Sebring’s Brett Mitzel rushed 10 times for 60 yards.
