This was a great way to start a Monday with this email from a Valley citizen:

After reading Sunday's paper, I was once again full of delight and respect for what you and the Vindicator delivers. 

I'm sure a bunch of folks have sent in their accolades for http://www.vindy.com/news/2014/mar/09/well-loved-teacher-fights-als/?mobile">Scalzo's article on Christine Terlesky's ALS experience.  It was moving and well done, from the uplifting pictures to the smile-producing quotes throughout.

Your http://www.vindy.com/news/2014/mar/09/and-our-message-board-was-bad/">own column on page 2 as well was tactful and right on target.

I used to be a regular subscriber to the Vindy then stopped for a while.  

It was not a smart move, so today I resubscribed.
