We have a nice little story in Tuesday's Vindicator written by a new freelancer, Bonnie Hazen of Hubbard.

It's Bonnie's first story for us, and it was about a no-kill cat rescue shelter that is expanding on Youngstown's west-side.

Part of the story highlighted the fiscally-strapped efforts of the move and the construction volunteers and the help needed to get the project completed.

By noon today, help arrived via local good guy Tony Lariccia. Tony and Mary donated a sizeable sum to the group.

Typical of Tony, he called today to thank us for the story. It was hard to get in a word to thank him for what he does.
