New report dissects Ohio, race and the Obama vote

There's a new report published today (Wed., 11/19) that I just finished reading, and it's an intriguing read.
YSU professor John Russo, http://workingclassstudies.wordpress.com/about/" target="_blank">co-director of the Center for Working-Class Studies, crunched the numbers of the Ohio vote, and did some additional research, and came up with a fascinating glimpse into the way the Youngstown area voted -- or didn't -- for Obama.
Ironic given the classic football match this weekend between Ohio and Michigan, Russo reports that not only do the two states have differences on the football field, but also in the voting booth.
Michigan working class voters were among key Midwest voters (also Wisconsin and Pennsylvania) who provided firewall protection for Obama vs. McCain. Ohio working class folks were not as much.
It's called "The Youngstown Election Report" and it's worth a morning read. http://workingclassstudies.wordpress.com/" target="_blank">Find it here.
