Thursday's Vindicator offered another week of FANtastic photos -- putting you and your antics at area sporting events into the paper.

On Sunday, we extend that project a bit, while stealing just a smidge from "America's Funniest Home Videos."

We are introducing Snapz on Sunday's E1. We want Snapz to be a once-per-month fun page for our Sunday Life & Work section. And, we want it to be about you.

Snapz is a page (or more) of pictures of you at your best -- or your worst, depending on the theme and the person submitting the photo.

Every month, you'll get a photo assignment from us. We'll make it seasonal; we'll make it random; we'll make it easy.

Pets, birthdays, Mill Creek, babies, vacations, graduation parties, dad at the grill, Mother's Day, gardens, etc. You get it. 

This first Sunday, we take one last look at Christmas 2007. We got a nice round of photos. 

Also this first Sunday, watch for our next assignments for Snapz. We're first looking for pictures those whacky pets with personality — dogs, cats, gerbils, whatever — even your husband if that's how things work at your house.

We're also asking you to gear up for the next Snapz themes soon to follow this spring: Cutie babies, graduation parties, summer cars and gardeners in their plots. Dig out old photos; take new photos.

We first turned The Vindicator over to you this past fall when we sought your photos from summer vacations and from Friday night football festivities. That went swell.

There was a funny reality from this fall's football photos in this age of "online this" and "web site that." The football fan photos went online instantly ... to vindy.com, 24/7 ... if you sent us a photo, we put it online for the world to see.

But we got lobbying and pleading (and some begging) from readers. They liked that their photo got online. But what they really wanted was to get their picture into the Thursday Blitz edition of The Vindicator.

So now you'll have a chance every month with Snapz. Tune in Sunday.
