If there was any doubt about how the election for Boardman Township trustee will play out, just listen to the two incumbents who are seeking to retain their seats, Kathy Miller and Atty. Robyn Gallitto. Indeed, if words were lethal weapons, Gallitto and Miller would be sporting major wounds.

Recently, the two women and their colleague, Larry Moliterno, were guests on "The Valley's Talkin'" on 1330 TALK WGFT hosted by Dr. William Binning and this writer and the tension between Miller and Gallitto was so thick, you could cut it with a knife. Gallitto wasn't even in the studio. She participated in the discussion about Boardman via cell phone.

Any hopes of a ceasefire were dashed when Miller was kept out of the deliberations concerning who would serve as chairman and vice chairman. She contends  she found out that Moliterno was going to be the chair and Gallitto the vice chair only after the trustees went into executive session. She will get her revenge.

So now the battlelines are drawn and even though two incumbents are seeking re-election, it is a given that each will have a candidate to challenge the other.
