The other day, Vindicator reporter Denise Dick was on her beat in the Boardman Township Administration Building when she happened to see Trustee Kathy Miller in the office. Dick, whose job it is to find out what's going on in the township, sat down for a chat.
But that brief encounter between the reporter and the trustee has caused a flap that would be hilarious, if it weren't so juvenile. It gives new meaning to the word "paranoid."
Miller was confronted by Trustee Robyn Gallitto, who peppered her with questions about her conversation with Denise Dick. To hear the exchange, which was taped, click on the audioclip player above.
Psst, Robyn, if you rush over to the police department you'll see Denise holed up with the police chief. No, wait, she's at the fire department talking to the chief. Now, there she is with township Administrator Loree. Is that Trustee Moliterno chatting with her?
THEY'RE ALL CONSPIRING AGAINST YOU, TRUSTEE GALLITTO! It's time you hired a lawyer — oops, you are one — and sued them all for talking to a Vindicator reporter.
