I'm here at Heinz Field about a half-hour away from kickoff for Youngstown State-Pitt.

Hopefully.

Pittsburgh is expecting some heavy rain/storms, which may delay the start or affect the game. That's not just bad for people with deadlines, it's bad for Browns fans who don't like spending extra time in Heinz Field.

The other big news so far is Pitt suspending six players for the opener. Most are backups but junior DL Tyrone Ezell was expected to start.

Typically, rain and suspensions favor the underdog.

I've held off on making predictions so far but I guess I can't wait any longer. I'm going to be bold: I think YSU will go 9-2 and advance to the third round of the playoffs.

And I think one of those losses will come tonight. Pitt 31, YSU 17.

I'll have blog updates tonight, as well as Twitter updates (@JoeScalzo1). If you don't have ESPN3, stay here.
