Based on what I've seen in practices and in Saturday's scrimmage, there are quite a few starters in danger of losing their jobs to newcomers. And the two positions facing the biggest shakeup are wide receiver and linebacker.

First-week impressions

Before training camp started, I voted YSU fifth in the Missouri Valley Football Conference preseason poll. (They ended up eighth.) Five minutes with Zach Larson

Andrew Radakovich is 6-foot-6, 325 pounds. A former Penn State recruit, he's generally considered Youngstown State's best lineman. He's also known for his sense of humor and his prodigious eating ability. At some point this summer, Radakovich decided to let his hair grow out into what looks like a perm. This, I decided, needed addressed.
