I'm standing in the Rombauer tasting room right now tasting through a delightful portfolio of quintessential Napa Valley wines. The lineup is a mix of wines we can get in our Valley and some very special things you can only get at the winery.

Here's a look at what we're tasting right now:

1. 2016 Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc

Bright, clean, fresh with tantalizing acidity and a vibrant finish.

1. 2016 Carneros Chardonnay

One of the try benchmarks for traditional Napa Chardonnay winemaking style.

1. 2015 Eldorado Zinfandel (winery only)

Concentrated dark fruits with hints of coffee and a hint of baker's chocolate on the finish.

1. 2014 Napa Valley Merlot

Fruit forward and lush with red fruits and sublime tannins.

1. 2104 Diamond Selection Cabernet

Opulent black fruits with hints of leather and smoke.

This is my 3rd visit to the Rombauer tasting room and its always a pleasure to enjoy their wines and tremendous hostility. thanks to the entire Rombauer team for a wonderful experience!
