Let's face it, there are many of you out there who will be doing some last minute Valentine's Day gift shopping today. Cards, flowers, and candy are old traditions, but seem a bit tired and overdone.

If you're looking for something fresh and new to liven up your day, why not consider some beautiful Rose' wine? Here's a look at two sparkling and two still wines that are sure to add some spark to your evening:

Champagne Charles Heidsieck Rosé Réserve ($80)

40% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay, 25% Pinot Meunier – In the glass, a sophisticated powdery pink, embroidered with delicate, vivacious bubbles. The bubbles linger as the rich aromas of home-made strawberry jam followed by warm gingerbread lead to the deep and powerful mouth feel, which offers a burst of red berry flavors. Goes well with heartier dishes like red meats and pasta.

2015 Villa Gemma Masciarelli Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo DOC ($15)

Made with 100% Montepulciano d'Abruzzo grapes, this complex rosé wine is a deep cherry pink, offering an exquisite floral bouquet with hints of thyme, pomegranate and walnuts. With a palate that is balanced and fresh with subtle tannins and boasting flavors of red fruit, this wine is bold, elegant and a perfect pairing with the lighter fare.

Mumm Napa Brut Rose' ($22)

This delightful rosé has an eye-catching pink coral color, robust red fruit flavors and an elegant finish. Pinot Noir is responsible for the wine’s soft texture and fruitiness, while the Chardonnay contributes structure and elegance. A beautiful pink coral color and fresh, vivid aromas of black cherries, red berries and citrus introduce soft red fruit flavors that are rich and mouth-filling, yet retain elegant character.

2015 Charles and Charles Rose' ($15)

Aromas of cherry, wild raspberry, blood orange, rhubarb, and Herbs de Provence carry over to the palate, where you also pick up some nice minerality. There is a broad palate that leads nicely into a bright acidity that builds as it refreshes. The color is a pale yet vibrant fuchsia pink.

I hope you enjoy these Valentines Day selections with someone special!
