Beer lovers from aroud the Valley and western PA gathered at Vintage Estate Beer and Wine on Ocotber 6th for the annual Pumpkin Ale taste off. This year there were 64 judges (the most ever) who rated 13 different seasonal ales.
Pumpkin bber has caught fire in our Valley and accross the US, making it one of the more popular seasonal ales. These beers are big hits at halloween parties and other fall celebrations.
Here's a look at the ratings for the beers:
Out of a possible 100 points, these are average scores, calculated to four significant digits. 64 score sheets were tallied.
