Local wine club Valley Vino had a tremendous year in 2013. The new partnership with Avalon Golf and Country Club proved to be a huge success. The attendance at the monthly Wine Academy events exceeded everyone's expectations. Station Square Ristorante and Valley Vino co-hosted five excellent events, including two on their beautiful Tuscan Patio. Here's a look at some of what is to come in 2014:

Avalon Golf and Country Club

Wine Academy found a great home here in 2013 and the event will once again be held at their Squaw Creek location each month. Look for more and larger outdoor wine events at Squaw Creek during the Summer months.

Avalon at Buhl Park will once again host the Cellar Sampling wine tastings staqrting this Saturday the 11th. A new event called "The Taste Of..." will be launched in March of 2014, featuring wines from a specific country or region paired with Tapas portion menu options.

Station Square

Look for a winetasting each month at this great Valley restaurant. Wines will be offered with over 100 menu choices and paired with a special appetizer plate. Chef Ottavio has plans for more unique and interesting themes for the events than ever before in 2014.

Rombauer Returns

The Valley's largest wine event in 2013 will have a sequel. Rombauer's CLyde Gilbert has confrimed we will return to the Valley for a Wine Academy event in 2014.

New Partners

Valley Vino will partner will Rachel's Westchester for a new set of events. There will also be a series of Jazz events with the 2nd Sunday group.

Gabrielle Leonhard

The famed Napa Valley Winemaker will return to the Valley for Wine Academy in 2014. Her wines were extremely well received by Valley residents in 2013.

More Events and More Fun

Look for more events than ever before with more chances to enjoy great wine and food in a variety of settings!
