Valley beer lovers are anxiuosly anticipating a new local beer festival located at the downtown's Covelli Centre on October 5th. The Youngstown Beer Fest recently unveiled some details of the event:

There will be over 80 breweries in attendance featuring over 200 different beers for attendees to sample. A list of breweries is available on site.

A huge variety of food venders will be on site, including several offering food / beer pairings.

Tickets are on sale now at the Covelli Centre and through Ticketmaster. General Admission tickets are $50 and VIP are $75.

The VIP tickets provide early admission to the event and offer access to exclusive features like interactive beer sites and Beer 101 classes.

There will be a week long celebration of all things beer in the week leading up to the main event. Beer Week events will be held at downtown pubs and eateries each night of the event week.
