Both matches of the Butcher Block Meat 16 final four take place this Wednesday, May 16th. Each restaurant has taken their own path to get there.

On the Mahoning County side, the number 1 seed, Bogey’s Bar & Grill, used their Four Cheese Frisco Bacon Burger in a close round 1 match vs Ice House Inn. Then they scored a 2 - 1 decision over an awesome burger by Coaches in round 2 with a Chicken and Waffles burger, complete with maple syrup. They're up against the Phoenix Fire Grill & Bar and their Chipotle Ranch Bacon Burger which took out the Pour House in round 1, and then surprised 2016 Meat 16 Champion Magic Tree in round 2. This will be an epic battle to be decided Wednesday, May 16th, live on the WFMJ Midday Report. The winner of this battle moves on to the finals to take on the Trumbull County champion.

Over in Trumbull County, The Lime Tree Sandwich Gallery rode their creation, the Bibbidi Bobbidi Burger, straight to the Final 4. They first stunned 2017 Meat 16 champion, Big D’s Newton Grill, then knocked off Sunrise Inn, in round 2. They'll face off against High Pointe Restaurant & Tavern, who used their signature burger to take down the Lake Tavern, and then in the second round, their Smokehouse Burger KO'd the amazing entry by Peter Allen Inn. The winner will battle it out against the Mahoning champ in a match that will be decided at the Youngstown Air Reserve Station on May 30th.
