Mojo's Pub (Austintown) fills the last Mahoning county vacancy in the 2018 Meat 16 cheeseburger tournament. Mojo's joins last year's Mahoning county champion, Davidson's and six other Mahoning county restaurants to complete one side of the bracket.

The 3rd annual tournament will begin in April and see eight Mahoning county restaurants battle it out in head to head cook-offs that will be judged by a panel of 3 valley residents. The judges, that change for each match, are looking for the best combination, of bun, beef, toppings and condiments. The winner of the Mahoning bracket will face the Trumbull champ that will be determined in the same manner. The championship match will take place the week prior to National Hamburger Day, May 28.

Past winners are; Magic Tree Pub & Eatery (2016), and Big D's Newton Grill (2017).
