When you are a burger guy and you go on vacation, you always have to check out the local burger scene. I am vacationing in Ireland for a couple of weeks and while we were in Dublin we stopped at Bobo’s gourmet burgers and did an impromptu review.
Traveling with me were, my wife, my sister and my brother-in law. We all chose different burgers from the http://www.bobos.ie/burgers%20menu.pdf" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">menu. I choose “The Dubliner” which consisted of, prime juicy beef, country tomato relish, Old Dubliner cheese, fried onion, beef Botomato, gherkins, iceberg lettuce, and Bobo’s burger sauce.
My wife chose, “ The Applewood”, which consisted of, prime juicy beef, apple relish, smoked Applewood cheese, cured smoked bacon, cracked black pepper, red onion, beef tomato, and iceberg lettuce.
My sister had “The Colm” prime juicy beef, country tomato relish, caramelized onion, bacon, beef tomato, cracked black pepper, iceberg lettuce, and homemade guacamole.
My brother in law had, “The bacon cheese burger” which consisted of prime juicy beef, Old Dubliner cheese, cured smoked bacon, red onion, beef tomato, iceberg lettuce, and mayonnaise.
All the burgers required two hands when eating as they were loaded with meat and toppings. We ended up cutting some in half and in quarters and each of us sampled from each other’s burgers. These burgers were very comparable to the highest rated burgers from the Mahoning valley. It was our first night in Dublin and it was a great way to start the trip with a burger and a pint of Guinness! So if you are ever in Dublin, Ireland try Bobo’s for an excellent burger.
