“MAYBE WHAT THIS COUNTRY NEEDS IS A GOOD DEPRESSION !”

You’re kidding,right?

Well, no.

What’s it REALLY going to take for ‘ we the people’ to take OUR government back from these two corrupted parties?

Those that have stood idly by this impending economic meltdown, want us,U.S. to bail their friends out-bail THEM out while we’ve watched OUR friends and neighbors lose THEIR jobs and homes, while OUR REPRESENTATIVES sent America’s jobs elsewhere and Chinatized our retailers.

Let’s remember that OUR congress is ready to go home-to adjourn -ready to end THEIR work year, just at the time when the rest of us, U.S. is entering the FOURTH quarter of work ! For some American’s, the most difficult quarter of work.

So, maybe we need a good depression-eh?

Something to wake us up to corrupted government officials that turn their backs on us until their s---e hits the fan-they THEN turn to us to loot us.

From an Aug 08 Harris Poll :

Eighteen percent of Americans believe things in the United States are going in the right direction while three-quarters (76%) think things have pretty seriously gotten off on the wrong track

this from June 08 :

Seven in ten Americans (71%) rate the economic policies of the national government as bad while 13 percent rate them as good. One in five (21%) say the policies are very bad. The economic rebate checks may have hit people’s bank accounts and mailboxes, but that has not done much to change opinions; in March, almost the same number (70%) said the policies were bad

Compared to one year ago, almost half of U.S. adults (47%) say their household’s financial condition has worsened while one-third (34%) say it has improved and one in five (20%) say it has remained the same. In March, three in ten (30%) said it their household’s financial condition had improved compared to a year ago while half (48%) said it had worsened

hey, remember the ECONOMIC STIMULUS REBATE CHECKS??

‘member this? :

At a cost of nearly $42 million, the IRS wants you to know: Your check is almost in the mail.

The Internal Revenue Service is spending the money on letters to alert taxpayers to expect rebate checks as part of the economic stimulus plan.

Ah, the Economic Stimulus Act of 2008 !!

The Economic Stimulus Act of 2008 (Pub.L. 110-185, 122 Stat. 613, enacted 2008-02-13) is an Act of Congress providing for several kinds of economic stimulus intended to boost the United States economy in 2008 and to avert or ameliorate a recession. The stimulus package was passed by the U.S. House of Representatives on January 29, 2008, and in a slightly different version by the U.S. Senate on February 7, 2008. The Senate version was then approved in the House the same day. It was signed into law by President George W. Bush on February 13, 2008 The law provides for tax rebates to low- and middle-income U.S. taxpayers, tax incentives to stimulate business investment, and an increase in the limits imposed on mortgages eligible for purchase by government-sponsored enterprises. The total cost of this bill was projected at $152 billion for 2008 with an additional $124 billion to be spent over the next 10 years

So, did YOUR economy feel stimulated ??? EVEN erected??? THAT wasn’t even economic foreplay !!!

OUR representatives , our country’s leaders, those that stand by while thousands and thousands lose their lives, limbs and minds in Iraq-AFTER we’ve learned that ALL the “reasons” for the war were lies and deceptions — a SPEAKTRESS of the House that gave THIS president a pass, REPRESENTATIVES that have watched people lose their homes and jobs while they, OUR REPRESENTATIVES enrich themselves… a so-called representative government that allows corporate lobbying in Washington when a recent poll says that 90+% of those polled do NOT want corporate lobbying in Washington…need more ???

So what’s it going to take to REALLY wake us, U.S. up???

What’s going to wake us up to the FACT that these two,too powerful parties are ONLY interested in their own power- the power of their party, not WE THE PEOPLE . What’s it going to take to regain a government of the people, by the people, for the people???

MAYBE WHAT THIS COUNTRY NEEDS IS A GOOD DEPRESSION ? Will that wake us,U.S. up???
