I've had a number of emails re: the recent death of Syd Barrett(formerly of Pink Floyd).

This one's representative of them:

"Louie I do NOT understand why you brushed over the death of legendary,founding Pink Floyd member,Syd Barrett ?" What kind of aging flower child are you ?"---and it continued.

Ok, to me, and maybe only to me, the greatest accomplishment of Syd Barrett is to Pink Floyd's music AS inspiration for the others in the band that were and are REALLY GREAT musicians .[PERIOD]
