I am sincerely glad that Bertram DeSouza followed up(after his last visit on air w/ me and Dr.Billak) re: the federal judges and this recycling contract fiasco! Today's Vindicator(20Aug)'s editorial tells the story. Still surprisingly silent are our elected officials who seem to only TALK w/honour and courage around election time. The epicenter of the Mahoning County Criminal Justice system's *dysfunction* is the Mahoning County Jail operated by Sheriff Wellington who is unwilling or unable to do his job. The Sheriff's accomplices are *our* elected officials + others in the media who are unwilling to stand up and speak out re: this Sheriff . The Vindicator's now stepped up, at least asked some questions on the recycling contract(again: let's see, the Sheriff's jail is deemed *unconstitutional* by a US FEDERAL JUDGE so, let's see,he's can't operate the jail...Hey,let's _E-X-P-A-N-D_ his duties and obligations !!!!)-WHO'S NEXT ????
