Mooney Students.. You are doing a disservice to your school with the immature comments defending these kids. You can defend you friends, but at least do so in a way where you don't embarrass yourselves and your school!
The Vindicator did nothing wrong. Anyone who reads the sports section knows that the Vindicator has had a love affair with Mooney High School for decades.
This is the Vindicator being the first to break a major story that is now the talk of the entire community. When you are trying to attract readers to your newspaper, breaking major stories is one way to do just that.
I find it ridiculous that people are attacking the Vindicator for mentioning these students attend Mooney and Canfield High Schools. What do you honestly expect them to do? Would it be better for the Vindicator to leave their readers in the dust by just saying fourteen teenagers were in a fight in Canfield? NO, people are going to want to know where these students go to school, or if they even do attend school. I would agree if it were a one on one fight, but this was a fourteen on one attack on a student with VIDEO FOOTAGE, of course it is a huge story. And in case you didn’t see it, the one students throwing the punches with his left hand had a CMHS Lettermen Coat on.

The Mooney kids TRESPASSED on this mans property and proceeded to initiate a fight. These kids are going to get into some serious trouble.
The fact this man has camera's goes to show he has got some $$$. I can only imagine the attorney he got against these kids.
