GOP turns up heat on Gov. Strickland over job losses

Strickland campaigned that he'd create jobs aned so on and so forth. He hasn't created a single NET-JOB.

Taft was terrible, but so is Strickland.

Section of New Road expected to open by July 4

The area under repair has had cones around it for over a month with NO work being done. Why not open it up now? It's an inconvenience to many.

GM plans on second shift of workers at Lordstown

The local politicians being in bed with the unions certainly does not help the situation.

Vote out all incumbents and give some conservatives a shot at bringing back this area! The Democrats have failed the citizens of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley.

U.S. must reduce debt

Bush spent way too much money, but BUSH did not cause this recession. This recession can be directly blamed on the greed and irresponsibility of banks, prospective home-buyers, and the Federal Reserve.

I didn't see Bush giving out these risky mortgages Cambridge. You believe that it is the Bush recession if it happened under his watch or the Clinton recession since it happened under his watch, that is false.

If you want to talk about a recession caused by our government, then read up on the FDR Recession of 1937. I studied it in my history course at YSU. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recession_…

This is what the New Deal, aka big government spending, led to. World War II got us out of the Great Depression, not the New Deal.

A recession in 3-4 years will occur once again due to the big government stimulus spending of Obama. You can't spend your way out of the mess Cambridge!

The Vindicator Endorsed President Obama back in late October 2008. You endorsed a man that will bankrupt this nation for generations upon generations to come. Like his predecessor, he will double our nation's debt under his watch.

He can claim that spending trillions will save this nations economy, but it is certainly not worth it in the long run. I am not saying the Vindicator should have endorsed McCain, but they should have realized that Obama would be big spending liberal.

Portman says he hasn’t sought Bush’s endorsement

Gotta love the Vindicator for making a point to ask him that question.... Is the Vindy following in the lines of the NYTimes?

Portman says he hasn’t sought Bush’s endorsement

Traficant PRAISED Portman in his last speech before he was expelled from Congress.

That will help him here.

What was this election for, anyway?

Haha I missed that. Thanks for the heads up... I didn't have that problem in my writing classes at YSU...
