Cambridge, I may be 20, but just out of curiosity what did I say that you don't like or agree with me on? Sure I am rather young, but considering our politicians haven't come up with any new ideas to create jobs here, I see nothing wrong with someone like me expressing my opinion on how to create jobs here.
Just because I am 20 doesn't make me naive Cambridge. You can try to insult my intelligence, but it won't work.
I am not an elected official so I do what I try to do. I offer my opinion and try to inform other people about the issues. I am a huge advocate of this area and have no intentions of ever leaving. I am a big supporter of YSU not only in the classroom, but also in the athletic arena.
What do you want out of me? I hope to contribute one day in the business sector of this community.
YBI, considering I am 20 years old, why not ask me in ten to fifteen years and I'll tell you then. At this young age, there isn't all that much I can do, hence the reason I've been blogging for two years now.
Here is a fact for you: 270 workers at the Denman Tire plant in Leavittsburg are on track to lose their jobs this year. Source: http://www.wfmj.com/Global/story.asp?S=…
We cannot rely on manufacturing to get this area back. Areas that faced similar problems to ours in the 70s and 80s did not sit around and wait for manufacturing to return, they were -proactive- and went forth attracting new forms of business to town.
So yes it is great we got 350 steel jobs coming to town and around the same amount in temporary construction jobs, we are still shedding jobs here locally.
Jimbo's congressional run in limbo
He will run as an Independent like I figured from the get go.

Ryan says there’ll be a ‘miracle on the Mahoning.’
After reading what Congressmen Ryan wrote, I simply could not pass this opportunity up to speak out against this guy.
Here is my column on his ridiculous comments: http://mvred.com/index.php/archives/loc…

Tim Ryan has some serious problems. Where are we going to get all these jobs?
Better yet, what has he been doing these past 7 years since he took office? Shouldn't we be approaching a 1960s economy by now?!
