Officials to seek help on airport goals

To my good ole buddy TAXEDOFF, we've gone over this before and I guess I have to go over it again. I don't have to be a Democrat to support the airport like you continually try to paint on this website. Furthermore, guess what those funds would go towards, economic development at the airport. People would be hired to work for Delta, businesses at the airport such as Mikeees Restaurant would stand to benefit, and down the road the Mahoning Valley itself would stand to benefit with having Delta in town. Remember if we capture 30% of the local fliers leaving Pittsburgh, that is $1.5 million back in the Ohio economy and not in the hands of the Pennsylvania economy.

To CinLou, was it necessary to join this website to post one comment: blaming the airport for something that it should not be blamed for? First off, $18 is cheap compared to CAK-CLE-PIT. It is $6 per day and you should have known that going in. Secondly, how could you feel unsafe in that parking lot? Vienna is a safe community and the airport is away from most residents in the community. Thirdly, the problem would have been solved as the two individuals before me eluded to, by calling your insurance company up and getting a tow truck.

The future is looking brighter each month at YNG!

Officials to seek help on airport goals

We would love to see PGD offered from YNG! Flights from CAK, CLE, PIT down to Ft. Myer's always seem to be full when I've flown down there!

$2M loan sought by downtown developer for Erie Terminal

Mabell, as the article stated, the first $2 million loan was paid off in ten months. What makes you think this loan cannot be paid of in ten months?!

YSU should invest in parking

YSU is a Division 1 school and is upgrading its facilities to be on a Division 1 level. We currently play softball at a little league park in Canfield and play soccer on a field with a crown. Try playing soccer on a field with a crown.

The bottom line is the athletic facility improvements have been planned for years and beautify YSU's presence along the Madison Avenue Expressway. There is plenty of areas YSU could add parking throughout campus or around campus.

My secret to the parking mess, schedule early classes and you won't have a problem.

What sacrifices are YSU’s faculty and staff making?

Hahaha... Great idea by the Vindicator, but we are dealing with a union here. With Kasich's signature on SB5, do you really think they are going to give up anything when they are fighting that piece of legislation tooth and nail?!

YSU should invest in parking

m8ke_the_call, you should know that the land purchased by YSU on the west end of campus is for the use of the Athletic Dept. They plan to build a new softball complex and soccer field (w/ potential track) across the street from Stambaugh.

Cavs explore bringing NBA D-League team to Covelli

I went to a ton of Steelhounds game and they always had good crowds the days I went, especially on the weekends when they would get 4-5,000+. The Phantoms on the other hand.... not so much.

If this were to come to fruition, I think it would be wise to curtain 25% of the arena cause these games would never sellout.
