A WKBN piece stated the following: "Trumbull County had already enacted it [raising their bed tax by 2%] and that didn't affect their occupancy rates in any way."
If it didn't hurt occupancy rates in Trumbull County, why would those against this move believe it would hurt occupancy rates in Mahoning County?
I don't even like Rush and I am against this. Hagan just LOVES to get his name in the newspaper. Why the Vindicator lets him every single week is beyond me!
You guys continue to rip the airport, but the stats do not lie, that place is moving in the right direction. Previous reports have stated the airport is close to getting daily airline service once again. Other construction continues at the facility with more planned this spring and summer.
Pack Beeghly on Tuesday Night... I love the naysayers above that feel compelled to rip on the coach whenever they have the opportunity to do so. He is here for two more years so get used to it.
In my opinion, this writer is all over the place on the issue of fracking and injection wells. He has bought into the environmentalist view on fracking and is staunchly against it.
Little does he know that this new technology may not pay off directly for him in the form of a job, but it will pay off for thousands of individuals across this area looking for work and looking to support their families.
Fracking is going to happen for decades to come and for these environmentalists, that is downright frightening.
Good news without a doubt, but this idea that Obama should be praised and hailed the King is ridiculous.
Watch this economy really take off with Romney in charge for the next four years... You want to see change we can ALL believe in... Romney is the answer.

High winds strike Valleys, downing many trees, power lines
Wonder if there is anyway the environmentalists can blame this one on fracking and earthquakes. That picture would be perfect for their cause.
Glad nobody got hurt!

Will you vote for Paul Gains or Jay Macejko for Mahoning County prosecutor?
Voting Republican so I won't get to vote on this race. I am supporting Macejko and expect him to win.
