East Siders angered by city's plan to rezone their neighborhood

The 19 residents are not dealing with a commercial enterprise, they are dealing with a government that is doing what is best for THE PEOPLE the government represents.

The 19 people have seen the writing on the wall for years, decades, and if they wish to live on a private street or culdesac, then they should pay their fair share of taxes to do so. Anything else is selfish and in my opinion, criminal. Is that what these 19 people are?- entitlement minded criminals looking too continue the free ride at taxpayers expense?

If Attorney Miriam Ocasio wishes to place labels upon any entity or organization the labels MUST be placed upon the 19 people fighting against their government, the City of Youngstown.

In my opinion, it is embarrassing to give the responsible taxpayers of Youngstown further and unnecessary tax burdens because 19 people unfairly expect to be coddled and taken care of at the expense of those whom work tirelessly to better their own lives al the while paying MORE than their fair share of taxes. Also, whom is to say the 19 people will have a worse existence when they leave?

Compensating people for their homes is not unfair. Attorney Miriam Ocasio stated, "I’m not sure this is the correct area [to clear out residents]. You may want to take another look at this".

As an attorney you have absolutely zero room to be uncertain and your statement tells me that the law is NOT on the side of 19 people. It’s unfair and it’s wrong ONLY TO the tens of thousands of City of Youngstown taxpayers that have for years been paying the bill for these poor millionaire lifestylers and now it is time to end this imbalanced insanity.

Fair is fair. I only hope the 19 people won't make attempts to turn our community into a communist sensation.

Clinton casts Trump as little more than con man

Billary had their chance. Even if Trump implodes the economy at least that is something new and we can re-create the economy WITHOUT entitlement welfare losers and WIITHOUT bad decision making drug abusers.

Yeah. I have all of the answers and I'm not even sitting on a bar stool.

Leavittsburg man faces murder charges in motorcycle club shootings

I drive a car. Why am I seeing bumper stickers that express I should look out for motorcycles?

Have you seen the Youtube videos that show motorcyclists not giving a damn about the way they drive?

Motorcycles should look out for the cars, not the other way around.

And about the shooting-

Good. Less trash in this world.

Schools’ CEO, on guard!

@ kurtw:

Sorry my friend as I was jut attempting to be funny.

But seriously, the unions need to be killed and a system in place to eradicate the teachers whom literally do not care on any level.

Next the students whom wish not to learn by any means need to be eradicated as well. Parents whom are not involved with their childs discipline need to be held legally and financially responsible.

A few years ago Mr. Clarence Boles addressed the city regarding the education system in Youngstown and I must tell you, it was a speech that stated it as it is. A great speech. Mr. Clarence Boles was right on.
