Jury Finds Infante Guilty on 22 of 32 charges

WARREN — The jury in the Ralph Infante corruption trial have found the former Niles mayor guilty of 22 of the 32 charges he faced, including the most serious charge, engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity. Infante, 62, did not appear to show any reaction to the verdicts. Sentencing is set for 10 a.m. Friday. The jury found him guilty on 13 of 16 counts of tampering with records, which are all third-degree felonies. Each carries a prison sentence of up to three years.
