Here are entries we received for the 2017 Vindicator Photo Contest. The contestants were asked to submit a picture of something they love ... anything from the beautiful sunrise outside the kitchen window every morning to that souped up car from days gone by to that special someone.

THE WINNER IS: Samantha Toth of Austintown submitted this winning entry of The Vindicator’s “Love Is All Around” Photo Contest to celebrate Valentine’s Day. She sent in this photo of her beloved parents, Perry and Roseanne Toth, who have been married for 31 years. Here they are in Yosemite National Park. Samantha’s photo was drawn as the winner of a $50 gift certificate to Bruno’s Restaurant & Catering, 1984 Boardman-Poland Road, Poland.

Barbara Cardarelli of Struthers chose this as her submission. “Mom and Dad, Bobbie and Stan Hewitt, taught my sisters and I the true meaning of ‘and the two shall become one.’ Mom died in 2011, three months before their 70th anniversary, yet as this picture shows, they were outwardly affectionate until the end. As they walked in the park, strolled through the mall, or just sat together on the couch, they held hands, stole an occasional smooch, or simply shared a loving glance. Of all the photos we have of them, this one means the most to me. This is love!”
