This vintage picture from the late 1880s shows employees setting up shop at the reborn Vindicator at 12-13 S. Phelps St. in downtown Youngstown. William F. Maag Sr., who bought the paper at a sheriff's sale, is at the right edge of the brickwork. The Vindicator celebrates its 150th year of publishing Tuesday.
