The GFWC Ohio Austintown Junior Women’s League recently hosted its annual Christmas dinner at Tavola’s in Austintown. Members enjoyed a buffet and made plans for a fundraiser, “A Taste of Austintown,” that will take place March 1. The Struthers Rotary Club has participated in the Dictionary Project since 2003. The Rotary provides dictionaries to students in the third grade in local schools. The goal is to assist students in becoming good writers, active readers, creative thinkers, and resourceful learners by providing them with their own personal dictionary that may be used for many years.
