Boardman Lions Club recently donated $800 to Youngstown Area Goodwill Industries for the Radio Reading Service, a private, nonprofit radio station for the visually impaired. The donation caps off a campaign to provide free, specially-tuned radios to the area’s blind community. The radios allow blind or print-disabled individuals to gain access to printed materials such as books, magazines, newspapers, ads and more.
