BICENTENNIAL UNIVERSITY - Youngstown State University officially became a bicentennial university this morning as Ohio Sen. Harry Meshel, D-33, center, presented an official Bicentennial flag and certificate to YSU President John Coffelt, left, and Dr. Robert Smith, right. The brief ceremony gave U.S. Bicentennial Committee sanction to the university's planned festivities to help mark America's 200th birthday.
