Voters this November will decide whether to pass a levy officials say is vital to the operation of the Mahoning County Mental Health and Recovery Board. The new levy would increase the board’s levy annual revenue from about $4.3 million to $5.4 million. Officials said it will allow them to better fight the opioid epidemic and to provide better mental health services in Mahoning County schools.
