More than five million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s disease, including nearly 7,200 in Mahoning County. The Mahoning Valley Walk to End Alzheimer’s will be Saturday, at Youngstown State University WATTS, 651 Elm St. Registration will open at 8:30 a.m. with opening ceremonies beginning at 9:30 a.m. There is no cost to register for the two-mile walk.
