Above, sixth-grade students in English Language Arts classes at Struthers Middle School recently presented “Book in a Bag” gallery walk. Each student chose a book to present, drafted a plot summary, collected artifacts and decorated a brown paper bag to explain the book. Classes took turns learning about one another’s books. below is Kanan Hickman, who presented “Game Changers” by Mike Lupica. At bottom, Marisa Orbin shows her presentation on “The Ghost of Crutchfield Hall” by Mary Downing Hahn. Class teachers are Erica Loew and Jennifer Pint.
