The Department of Student Life and Campus Programs at the University of Akron has congratulated the 2017 Homecoming King and Queen, Dan Kosich and Alexia Santiago, above. Santiago is a senior from Boardman who is majoring in psychology. She belongs to many student organizations and has served as a New Roo Weekend leader for three years and an orientation leader for two years. She hopes to be a representative of people who are “underrepresented.” Kosich is a senior majoring in mechanical engineering and is involved with Phi Delta Theta and the Department of Residence Life and Housing.
